Microblading

Microblading is a technique of cosmetic tattooing performed specifically on the eyebrows. Like earlier methods of cosmetic tattooing, it is done by manually depositing pigment into the second layer of the skin (dermis). But what makes it truly unique is the hand tool used.  The unique formation of microblading needles allows the artist to create the look of real eyebrow hairs by tattooing very fine hair-like strokes in the skin.

Lip Blushing

LIP BLUSH is the new alternative to the old permanent lip makeup. It can be compared to lip gloss, tint or blush. The idea of this procedure is to restore color and keep the lip’s edge or vermillion border soft. This will give the lips a fuller, softer appearance without a harsh lip liner look. Additionally, the lips can be lined outside the natural lip line for a dramatically fuller look!

PROCESS 

A numbing cream is first applied to ensure comfort. Once the lips are numb we start by shaping the lips with a pencil to choose the perfect shape. The lips are more prone to swelling during treatment. If this should occur, swelling will quickly fade and will disappear totally within two days. Expect the procedure to take around three hours. The color density may appear stronger at first than you anticipated, but this will fade after three to four days too. Trauma around the mouth area may cause an occurrence of cold sores. It is usually a few days after the i procedure that cold sore pain begins. People who get cold sores will need to take preventative medication at least 2 days before the procedure.

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?

Every client is individual but generally 2 years. Color retention depends on skin type, age, aftercare, sun exposure, use of certain products, pigments used, the immune system, medications, and other Factors.  Touch ups are recommended once every 1-2 years to prevent natural fading.

DOES IT HURT?                              

Clients are numbed prior to procedure, so it is quite comfortable and relatively pain free.

HOW LONG IS THE HEALING PROCESS?

Clients can expect to look like they’re wearing lipstick combined with a mild lip-filler pout when they leave their appointment! The color looks really vibrant the day of and after the appointment. Around day two-three, the lips will softly flake away, and the following day they appear almost entirely healed. This soft technique we use ensures the lips will heal quickly and with minimal discomfort. MEDICATIONS

If you are prone to herpes or cold sore breakouts you will need to take your antiviral medications preventatively for a couple days before procedure and a few days after.

WILL IT LOOK LIKE LIPSTICK?

No. It does not replace your lipstick, but gives your lips a natural, blushy tint. If you are a person that loves the appearance of “no-makeup makeup” and wants to look like your lips have a little life during the work week, at the gym, picking up a coffee and running errands, and like to feel “effortlessly put-together” – this is it!

Lip Blush for Dark Lips:

Attention! If your lips are dark, purple or hyperpigmentated and you want to cover of darkness please read:

You will need at least 2 sessions.

On our first session there will be only one color option, which is bright orange. If we will tattoo any other color you will have absolutely 0 retention or could risk darkening your hyperpigmentation. Nude colors will not stay or cover dark pigmentation in your lips. Therefore, on our first session we will cancel out the cool tones in your lips with a warm toned color (orange). When healed, you will end up with a beigey pink color on your lips and most, if not all of the hyperpigmentation will be covered.

During the second session we may have to repeat the first step, depending on how well your hyperpigmentation is covered from the first session. If your lips healed nicely and all of the hyperpigmentation is gone, then on the second session we will use a bright red to get a NATURAL pink tone. On second session we cannot use a nude color either.

Before the appointment, I will explain all details regarding the procedure and I will show pictures of results that can be expected. Clients with dark lips have to understand that it may take more sessions for them to achieve desired result. At this moment, clients with dark lips are not charged for additional touch up.

The truth is, dark lips are really difficult to work with: the skin is very thick and tough for permanent makeup which is gentle technique. Most artists will run away from dark lips and not touch them at all. However, I know how to work with these lips properly and have the right pigments, technique and machine to get beautiful results.

Powder brows also also known as shading, or ombre brows, and is a machine method technique used to apply pigment to the brows in layers. A powder brow mimics a soft make-up effect. This technique is perfect for ALL clients. It works well on those with little to no hair as well as those who have a full brow and are looking for better definition. Powder brows are custom created for each client, and we can create a soft or more defined brow.

Lash Enhancement

WHAT IS A LASH ENHANCEMENT?

A lash enhancement is a permanent makeup solution to permanent eyeliner. We use a device, with a superfine needle, to create a thin line along the lashes using a pigment specifically designed for the eye area. This procedure can last anywhere from 12+ months. *Varies per client

WHAT IS THE PROCESS OF LASH ENHANCEMENT?

At this time, Reshape Microblading Studio is only offering lash enhancement which is the thinnest line along the lash line of the eye. Winged liner or other thicknesses of liner are not available.

Numbing

A topical anesthetic (5% lidocaine ointment) is applied for 20 minutes PRIOR to the procedure to ensure maximum comfort. During the process a SEPARATE numbing agent (5% lidocaine ointment) is used to enhance numbing effects.

Lash Enhancement Procedure

Once the area is numb, we use a permanent makeup machine with a single, thin needle. The machine is dipped in pigment where it is applied along the lash line. Layers are applied until the desired color is achieved.

AFTERCARE FOR LASH ENHANCEMENT

• In the morning and evening, using a moist q-tip, lightly clean the area for 3-5 days.

• During this time, DO NOT wet the area or submerge in water.

• Do not use sauna or steam room

• Avoid sun exposure, direct UV light.

How is permanent eyeliner done?

Your technician at Makeover Aesthetics is your makeup artist who will first consult with you to get to know your lifestyle, personality and find out what you want in your permanent eyeliner look. Whether you’re looking for a subtle contour to accentuate your eyes or a dramatic cat eye look, our team can do it all. She’ll advise you on all the options, from color (we use over 40 hypo-allergenic pigments to create the perfect one for you!) to shape to thickness. You’ll discuss where you’d like your color – on your upper and/or lower eyelid. Eyeliner will be drawn in pencil first to simulate how it will look when done.

Once your consultation is complete the process for installing permanent eyeliner begins where you’ll be numbed with topical anesthesia cream to minimize any discomfort. Your technician will use a micropigmentation tool to carefully infuse eyeliner pigments into your skin. Because the pigment only goes into the dermal layer of your skin, eyeliner will fade in 1-3 years (it is not a permanent eyeliner tattoo). This is perfect because facial shapes and eyeliner style trends change!
